Big Bear Eagle: Jackie | Field Study Edition Tee

A beautiful and majestic bald eagle in mid step as she moves a to a higher perch spot, with the fullness of floofy tail feathers in graceful motion. She moves with elegant ease but strength and power, a magnificent model of the words of Isaiah 40:31. This eagle in Big Bear is Jackie and is widely known and loved for good reason as the Queen of eagles--and her mate Shadow is a perfect King. 

Created from the artist’s own self-funded field trip to Big Bear, this independent Gen122 design depicts Jackie, the well known bald eagle of Big Bear Valley. The source image was captured June 22, 2026 with a telephoto lens from a respectful public viewing area near Capt John's Fawn Harbor / Dana Point park while observing posted closures and wildlife protections. Gen122 is not affiliated with the Friends of Big Bear Valley or the livestream eagle nest cam, but simply one of many admirers of Big Bear’s resident eagles. In support of their efforts, a portion of profits from this piece will be donated toward Big Bear eagle conservation.

7-20-26 Update: After this piece was created, our beloved Jackie was found weak near Dana Point Park — a place where many of us who follow Jackie and Shadow, and now Sandy and Luna, watch and photograph the eagles and other birds.

She was first rescued by San Dimas Raptor Rescue and later transferred to Ojai Raptor Center for specialized care. We are deeply grateful she was found and is in expert hands. In response to this meaningful event, Gen122 will donate a portion of profits from this design to these rescues with love, for our Queen Jackie. 

August 10, 2026:  It was the saddest news today, our Jackie left this world for eternal skies now. We will miss Jackie our Queen so much it hurts. We will still put aside a portion of profits for those who helped Jackie, and for FOBBV--for if not for them, we would never have known her.
